Dr Mansoor Sharifi
Laryngologist
Dr Mansoor Sharifi is fully trained in all aspects of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgery with extensive experience both in paediatric and adult ENT disorders. He graduated from Warsaw Medical University in 2002 and trained in ENT in Warsaw where he completed general ENT in 2013 and also achieved paediatric ENT surgeon title in 2015 prior to his move to UK.
In the UK, between 2015 and 2020, he worked as an ENT surgeon in several NHS trusts, amongst them, the Royal London Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary, where he trained and performed surgeries of the soft palate and uvula, removal of adenoids and tonsils, straightening and repositioning of nasal septum (septoplasty), reshaping and repositioning of the nose (rhinoplasty), advanced anterior skull base and ear surgeries.
In July 2020 he was appointed as a substantive ENT Consultant at Doncaster Royal Infirmary with special interest in Otology and paediatric ENT. He is also currently the Clinical Governance Lead of the speciality at the Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Dr Sharifi actively takes part in specialist training courses, conferences and workshops. He is a member of the Polish Society of Otorhinolaryngologists – Head and Neck Surgeons, as well as the Polish Anatomical Society. He is also the author or co-author of numerous papers in the field of ENT surgery and Anatomy, presented at national or international meetings, including a course book for students and young doctors – “Paediatric otorhinolaryngology”.
